RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West The Auspit Rotisserie System

I was over at the Good Sam RV Rally in Redmond Oregon this last weekend doing some networking for Camping-USA.com and came across a product that I thought some of you might find interesting. I know its not as cool as digging a pit in the ground and cooking a whole pig......but this seemed...

Catch and Release...........but if you plan to keep one, don't use a stringer. Fish will release enforphines and stress hormones if they are abused too much before being killed. The best policy is to kill and clean immediatly and then put them in the fridge of on ice. If you can't, then a...

Congrats on your successful completion of this project. Really looking forward to seeing your camper and DD's custom camper one of these days. :) I hope to hook up with you too. Maybe this fall for a rally in Utah?

Cool to see it through! (I'm only about 25% through glassing the lower core on mine right now.) You mentioned 17-18mpg with the camper at highway speeds, is that 60mph range?, also how'd that compare to the stock truck in similar conditions? 60-65 mph. The stock truck used to get 20-22 on...

Bet you all thought that I drowned in a river somewhere didn't you? Funny thing is that actually almost happened a few weeks ago, but that is another story. Today I am here to let you all know that the "Titan Expedition Vehicle is pretty much DONE! Not only that but it has now been out on...

I bet you all thought that I had a nervous breakdown and was in the psych ward someplace twitching every time someone said "camper build" right? Well.....close, but I pulled through and the Titan Expedition Vehicle is pretty much done! I've actually had it out now on a test trip and plan the...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Owyhee/Succor Creek

Succor creek was neat, but aren't you going to be pretty far south of that? Or maybe you were planning a float and then some exploration. Anyway, I was with DD on that trip last year. Succor is pretty cool, but Leslie Gulch was flat out amazing. Some good looking trails up the slot canyons...

Wow! The photos of your rig parked in those gorgeous open spaces tell a great story. Must have been really relaxing and inspiring. Unfortunately, looking at the pictures while trapping in rainy Bend was enough to give me a headache...off to get some pills now :). Home Skillet

So you have the under bed storage accessing part of the bed area, what is going on in the front part, is there a hollow space up there too? I can't recall how you built the cabover exactly but if you have a space in the rear part of the bed I'd assume there would be similar space farther up...

Update on the interior work of the "Titan Expedition Vehicle". The framing for the galley, the water/electrical closet, the stove/storage tower, and the sink and counter area is done. The Edgestar 40 quart fridge, the on-demand hot water heater, and the water pump are in place. The electrical...

Progress looks very good. A quick question though, and excuse me if you've already addressed this, but do you have a manual rise backup plan? It might just be the engineer in me but some type of ability to hand crack or otherwise lift the top in the event of emergency would seem to make sense...

Had a hiccup with the actuation rams yesterday. The number "2" ram in the right front stopped working. One minute it was lifting as per usual, the next nothing. After checking the wiring back to the ram, and determining that it was not a power supply problem we assumed it had to be the...
