RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Torklift tiedowns with Hawk/Tundra

I live in a townhouse and they won’t allow storage for my Fleet. So, I had mine bolted down to the bed instead of turnbuckles. I figured if I take it off then out it back on, I could have the bolts sticking out of the camper to line me up and put some kind of rollers on the camper jacks to get...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Blue Flame

Anyone use a different heater than a forced air heater like the ones AT install? I'm looking for a heater I can run through the night without draining my battery. I came across blue flame technology and it looks nice. I'm sure I can use/install a vent where my current heater is and probably...

its always fun to go through the mental process that goes with purchasing a winch. So much to think about that you.......never would have thought about. Now Im worried about theft. Since I have an aluminum bumper, I cant weld the bolts to it, but I can weld a bridge between the bolts on the...

Well, this weekend I finally got my new winch. Since I can only do so much 4 wheeling I decided to go with the entry level Warn. I decided to go with the VR 10,000 lb. synthetic rope winch. Now I am glad. I mounted it yesterday and spooled in the rope and love it. If I knew how I would post...

Well, we have been going out to the back country of Big Sur lately and found some awesome camping spots, we thought to expand our horizons. RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West AccuSharp!

I've got the AccuSharp and like it, but...... A couple of month ago, I bought the Spyder Co Knife Sharpener and LOVE it. It is the best sharpener I have ever used. It holds the stones in an upright position 40, and 30 degrees, and you just slice down the stone like your cutting something and it...

Next week I get to take my trek down to SD and get my new bumper. They will install it for $60.00, and I am getting some PIAA driving lights installed in it too. Some how I want to hook them up to my high beam switch so they come on only when I use the high beams.

I think basically that everyone has different ideas of what they want and get just that. I have heard alot of people saying air bags are best, helper springs are best, etc. I feel you get what you want and end up happy. I am so far with mine, but it might be a rough ride for someone else.
