My Hawk doesn't hang out past my fenders on my '13 Tundra. It has the Tundra floorpack from the factory so it sits at the right height above the bed rails

I got lucky, this one came up used at exactly the right time. Had to drive out to Jackson, WY the day after Thanksgiving but well worth it!

Thanks! We've thought about it but it's a longer trip and we have two stops planned on the way up at Starved Rock SP in Illinois and Warren Dunes SP in Michigan

Oh I know, the truck is my only vehicle so the camper is on and off for the time being. Come June when we head out they will be removed.

I run a '13 Tundra DoubleCab and Hawk combo, I haven't had any issues yet either. I do plan on upgrading to E rated tires. Honestly I don't feel the camper all that much, and I love the truck so much that I have a very hard time justifying the switch to a 3/4 ton. My camper weighs in at 1257 lbs...

My mother in law has a new V6 Colorado. It's a nice truck but I feel the Tacoma has better fit and finish and build quality. Not to mention it drives better and has much better steering input. Both are too expensive for what they are though. You can get a half ton for practically the same amount.
