RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Both green wires have been found (drivers and passengers sides). Somewhere there must be a spot for an inline switch that is open because the circuit is dead and no continuity back to the green in the fuse box. Sounded like earlier posters ran into the same.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tips for avoiding Condensation?

Absolutely. I just figured the longer path of travel might be advantageous - cross flow from floor to ceiling. Probably the same outcome either way.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tips for avoiding Condensation?

I only leave turnbuckles open when we are in the camper. Amazing how much air the fantastic fan can pull through if needed and without the fan I suspect it keeps a gentle flow of air but still had condensation - high humidity here in the east.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Getting Satellite Radio Reception with a Camper installed

That is a great idea. Those radios pull out so quick it would be an easy swap when the camper is off.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Thanks all. Only reason for pushing to get both is because I have a drift boat trailer so it is a little nicer having a beam of light down both sides when backing up on ramps, loading, etc..

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Passenger side was an easy one. I was able to pull enough panel out to verify before drilling. Now to tackle the drivers side. Where I thought to drill there is a structural piece so looking at my options.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof Vent - What are the white hooks for?

I see a white plastic hook on each of my FWC roof vents, on the inside of the camper. Any idea what they are for? I ponder this each evening when I go to sleep...... LOL..

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Keeping out the foot / shoe dirt....

Please share any tips / advice for keeping from tracking in so much dirt into the camper. Some of our campsites are less than foot friendly. Just wondering if others are leaving shoes outside, laying down carpets, ???? Seems I regularly need to duck inside to grab something else. I have...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West CoolO2 Fans?

Update - I have had some success. Still testing. My concern is the internal rechargeable batteries versus the initial cost. There are alot of cheap options out there as i discovered.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tips for avoiding Condensation?

I did a quick search and not much came up on condensation under the FWC forum. I suspect there is a running thread somewhere. East of the Mississippi where we have humidity.....LOL...now that the seasons are starting to change a bit, we are noticing some condensation on the edges of the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Looks like the only panel I could move, without a major "tearout" would be the passenger side. Drivers side is pretty much covered up and glued to cabinetry and furnace. I am trying to contact FWC for some guidance as to wire locations I could access from the outside.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Thanks Vic. It sounded like from the other posts there were "coordinates/dimensions" for finding them without pulling a panel. I was confused. I will check it out. So if I read your earlier post correctly you could remove some of the lift mechanism / hinge and move a panel without having to...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rear flood light install questions

Anyone have a close up picture of where the wires are located or how they installed theirs? I have a 2017 Fleet, should have just paid for that additional accessory. I have two decent LED lights and have them mounted just below the roof latches. I just need to decide how I want to feed in the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Getting Satellite Radio Reception with a Camper installed

Hope it works for you. The new antenna is almost as good as the factory fin. I lose signal once in awhile but only when blocked from sky view.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Getting Satellite Radio Reception with a Camper installed

Look on ebay or online for a FAKRA connector / adapter. That will allow you to plug the new antenna into whatever is existing on the back of your radio unit. Basically it bypasses the need for finding the right connector. Pretty easy fix that worked for me. Adapter looks like...... it is...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Satelite antenna covered up by camper

I got a magnetic sirius antenna with a long lead. I think the stumbling block is finding the right plug. If you get a FAKRA connector / adapter it is pretty easy. Follow Youtube videos to remove the radio, find the satellite radio plug, remove it and plug in the new antenna. I even found a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ZAMP overcharging batteries/ triggering propane alarm? How to check?

Not sure if this is helpful at all but I had mine on the charger the other evening and got the red flashing light on the propane sensor. No audible alarm though, I need to look into that and how it is supposed to operate. Once I unhooked the charger and blew some air around it stopped. Any...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West When do you recharge?

Ok. Thanks for all the help. I am getting a real education on how this works. Much appreciated. I was checking everything out and I do have a BlueSea ACR unit. I guess what I got confused on was how you get things going again if you run the battery too low. I thought there was some sort of...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West When do you recharge?

Thanks DavidO. The manual I was looking at (FWC) didn't really address my questions, maybe it was an old version or something. I will check your link. Update - Turns out it was the same manual...... so I guess to better phrase my question, if the battery gets too low as noted in...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West When do you recharge?

I am a noob with a new fleet. I am a little confused on how the separator works. At what voltage do you say "time to start the truck" and charge a bit? If I understood my dealer correctly, when it gets too low it will disconnect the batteries and I will have to use "shore power" to charge and...
