I'll be on Cedar Mesa...it has quickly become my favorite. The route between Natural Bridges Nat'l Monument and into the Needles District of Canyonlands can't be beat. No trailer though...

Really nice! Those vigas don't look that old - is it reconstructed? I don't believe it is reconstructed. It is -very- well protected (from both people and the elements) as it is tucked back into a natural alcove.

Vagabond Camp...Lake Powell, UT

Even now, I find myself camping vagabond style...I always prefer an umbrella of stars to the nylon castle. I'll have to post a photo from Labor Day weekend out near Lake Powell...the car, and the dirt. (some beers too) DD, perhaps I will have a Tundra and camper by then...lots to see and...

Spent 3 nights out in S. Utah in an attempt to get back to center using some basic 'adventuring' skills: Rest and Relaxation. Old and new friends, family, and good times. I won't bore you with too much commentary, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...

Thanks...the deserts here speaks to my soul. I can't put my finger on it, but I come home much more able to take on the 'norms' of the world. Heading out there again the end of October (20-24th) if anyone is interested.
