I have a 2014 Hawk. The plastic taste only occurs when I use the white potable water hose as my water source, bypassing the holding tank. The plastic taste and smell comes from the hose in my situation. I need to explore other potable hose products.

My 2014 Hawk came with solar plugs on top and back with wires from both ending in the battery compartment. Each wire bundle is labeled identifying it as from the top or back plugs. Mine were labeled wrong at the factory as in the back plug wires were labeled as coming from the top plug. George

I got the same for my 2014 Hawk. In the process of adding 2 100 watt solar panels with Tri-Metric monitor and SC-2030 solar charger. Also installed 40# lift assist struts front and back. Highly recommend that. Retired NCB and former SCB. Have a good bombero story.

I get my Hawk 6/3 at FWC in Woodland. I got the side awning based from being around other rv's with an awning. I like the idea of having the shade or an outside venue for mealtimes. I'm an rv rookie for sure.
