FWIW AT Overland uses aluminum on the Atlas pop up camper folding end panels. I have not seen one in person but I will own one mid November after a 2000+mi trip to Salt Lake City to pick it up. I can update after that how thick and how well they work.

Do you have a test light or voltmeter? Most likely the hookup to the battery positive in the camper will also backfeed the 4 pin plug. If you find +12V with a test light or meter on that plug (not plugged into truck) that will be the battery wire. Once you determine +12 and GND I'd wire...

A youtube channel, TheFastLane Truck, did a trip to Deadhorse Alaska with a FWC on a Lightning. BTW IIRC Ford apparently says to NOT put a truck camper on the Lightning.

FYI- when I was prepping my 1999 Grandby for sale I used the Seal Grey to touch up its bottom, assuming they used the same grey with the two companies prior connection. They do not! :unsure:

I too have the Gaia subscription- I just wish they'd update the aerials. Way out of date, which is puzzling because a few other free resources are MUCH more current. We own some land in the NC mountains and the aerials are several years old.

Curious what paint you used on the floor pack. I bought a gallon of Glidden's Premium Exterior in Seal Grey to do my 2018 Panther. Got one side done a few months ago and need to get it back off the truck so I can do the rest.

I asked about hammer drills because many manufacturers of various jacks state to not use hammer drills. Reason is the impacts can over stress components and cause breakage. Not sure if that applies to truck camper jacks but I'm not taking the chance... :unsure:

Aluminum pop rivits? I could see that happening if they have any movement against the ceiling. Which is probably likely. MAybe some sort of adhesive mylar dots applied over each rivit assuming the smooth side is up????

Just backing plates. I do use some turnbuckles I've had through several truck campers over almost 30 years- the fronts have internal springs and the rears have some sort of internal rubber donut. I think they are HappiJac brand.

I believe the excess flow device is in the hose end or regulator input and not in the tank valve. I've read that plus I have a handheld weed burner that shoots massive flames out- it would trip the valve if it was in the tank I'm sure. It's hose does not have the excess flow device in it...

Yep IMO silicone is bad...I have come to hate the stuff. It leaves a residue and if a redo is ever needed nothing sticks well to silicone- not even silicone.
