RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Interesting webstore

I found a webstore that may be of interest to some around here. They've got some some poofy crap but also some real quality gear as well. Nice jerry cans. No affiliation btw http://www.expeditionexchange.com/

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ben, Marty, Their laughing

Back in my Hollywood days I made one similar to that for my old '86 22R Toy. It was heavily built and darn near bombproof. I covered it with industrial vinyl "diamond plate" sheet flooring and the thing lasted almost 10 years before the hinge finally blew out; it was stout enough you could have...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Suspension Upgrades?

Our truck is a 2005 Tundra Axcess 4WD; Most of our camping will be done in Baja and we will not be doing any hardcore off roading but we will definitely be doing a lot of travel on REALLY BAD roads. Figure 700+lbs for the camper, then you've got the portabote & outboard or kayaks, Ice, water...

The only drawback I can see is the cost/accessability of the 3m tape.

the only draw back there would be, would be putting some thing on the paint of the truck to keep it from wearing off wrapped in a nice tight, maybe velcroed sunbrella sleeve Or some other fabric that won't abrade the paint. Always thinkin';)

Of course I've been thinking about how to properly outfit/modify the upcoming super shell and I got to pondering the gap over the truck roof. How about this? Pool Noodle wrapped in a nice tight, maybe velcroed sunbrella sleeve and cut so it fits just right. What do you think?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Happy Camper!

We are getting our "super shell" outfitted very similar to Clark Beattie's rig but without a furnace as a majority of our camping is in Baja. Windows all around, screen door, lights in and out, awning etc. Really pretty excited about the whole thing and I think we are going to try and plan a...

Well I got off the phone a few minutes ago with Ben and we have ordered what he called the most expensive shell they've made! :D Between now and delivery I need to get rid of a Leer fiberglass shell and carpet kit. I guess it's time to learn how to sell on ebay.....

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Free Delivery!!

SWMBO and I are knocking around the idea of taking advantage of the ATC free delivery offer and mulling over options for a Panther Shell for our '05 4wd Tundra Access. 80% of our camping is in CA and Baja. It would be mostly for sleeping and storage. I'd rather cook outside most of the time...

Hi All Thanks for the warm welcome. We are down here in San Clemente CA and would really like to find something this side of the Rockies. The FWC and ATC are the only ones we are interested in. Of course.

Newbie member here. Been lurking for some time; Lifelong tent/bedroll camper, but now very interested in acquiring a lightly used or possibly new aluminum framed pop up to fit my 2005 4wd Tundra Access. Lot's of great info here. Thanks
