RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Sun, Rain, Mud and Snow in Mendocino's National Forest

Had a fun last trip in XPCamper #2 before it goes to its new owner. On Friday, Toni, KC and Gandalf took off to go to Upper Lake and then onto Bear Creek. I discovered that area about 10 years ago and it is a cool place to Explore More! We had perfect weather the first day and had a few...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What Size Tires

Yes, I always set my trucks up for about 80% Asphalt driving. This is what it would take me to go to the places I go. While i had both At's and MT's I would never go back to the At's. Once your off the Asphalt is where you really need the set up. I can't comment on fuel mileage loss, since my...

If you want to go where I go, up muddy hills you need the MT. For most travels the AT will do, but it depends if you go into wet areas for camping. The MT are also better for gravel and rocks IMO. I have them on my rig and got over 30K out of them. (Toyos)

    Window View

I just love these windows. Insulated, build in screens and privacy shades which add as another insulation. You can use them in bad weather as demonstrated here. I read a lot of why manufactures don't want to use them. I know why! $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Rhino Liner?

Well a black camper isn't going to be very cool in the summer  They make white rhino liner! I explored that road once as well for the XP. The reason i didn't do it was weight. That stuff is heavy. It would have added 150 lbs just to the bottom of the XP.
