RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Small Leak

Bill I haven't tried this yet. I'm just trying to come up with ideas to take care of an intermittent leak. Plan is to use a fish tape with maybe some water-soluble cable lube.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Small Leak

Beach, did this fix your issue? Thinking of doing something like this but I am wondering if anyone has used 3/8 backer rod? Seems like it would compress a bit better than 1/4 vacuum line. Camper is in storage about 100 miles away and can't really just walk out and try it out.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Delaminating underside of Fleet

Thanks for all the replies guys. I knew that I needed to repaint the underside and now this just motivates me. It is in storage for the winter and my plan is to address this extensively in the spring.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Delaminating underside of Fleet

I was just wondering if anyone has had the issue of the corners of the underside of their camper "delaminating"? I purchased a used 2010 Fleet last year and used it all of this spring, summer, and fall but it looks like I need to do a bit of maintenance this winter. I was hoping someone has...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Quick overnight to Old Rag in Shenandoah NP

My wife did a quick write up for a quick overnight to hike Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. Have a read here: https://www.theadventuresofrubyd.com/single-post/2017/10/12/Apples-are-red-dirt-is-brown.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacing factory fridge with....

Broverlanding - I wish I had a front dinette but my Fleet is a roll over couch version. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to do something like this with you dinette version though. I hated the fridge too but I had the older Dometic setup. I really thought I would want a 50 qt but we've been...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacing factory fridge with....

Don - I have a 37qt but a 50qt would fit just as well due to the 37 and 50 being the same dimensions except for height. The 50 would probably work best with a slide added though. I am running this setup in a Fleet. The ARB was a downsize compared to my Dometic but I have not noticed any...

Damn, 80 PSI seems like a lot. Is that with the flatbed or your stock bed?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Replacing factory fridge with....

I pulled my Dometic and replaced it with the ARB we used before we got the camper. I love it so much more than the Dometic and just sips the power. I ended up putting the counter on stay open hinges so when the top is popped its easy to access the fridge. This setup even allows for me to store...

Sorry to keep posting on my own post but my wife added a new post to her blog. It is mainly a campground review from our trip. If you are interested go have a read here: https://www.theadventuresofrubyd.com/single-post/2017/09/09/Lets-Get-In-Tents.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Sleep setup for Baby/Toddler

When I first bought our used Fleet I was trying to figure out how our young daughter was going to sleep in the camper and what that sleeping arrangement was going to look like. I had quite a hard time finding any information on this subject except for this...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New cushion covers

I really didn't like pulling the fitted sheet down each night and my wife hated it. It also was a bit of a pain putting everything away in the morning especially with a little one. I am in no way a seamster and it was a very easy project. I did make fitted sheets using 3/8" elastic on the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New cushion covers

I have posted a couple more pictures of the cushion covers above. More specifically the gray covers I made for the couch and what the lower bed cushions look like when they are on the couch as well as the back of one of the cushions to show how I made them.

I have been using the crap out of my Snowpeak Pack and Carry. We pretty much use it every night. Recently made pizzas on it for the first time on our last trip to Acadia. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:29053]

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New cushion covers

Thanks. It should be a bit easier to set up now that each cushion has its own cover and we don't pull the fitted sheet down over the 4 other cushions. It is all about the small improvements to help speed up setup and break down of camp. We will take any short cut we can when traveling with an...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New cushion covers

We just got back from a trip to Acadia and my wife decided that she wanted separate bed covers. The upper bed is about the size of a king but we only had room for traditional queen sheets. Well, I found that Costco is selling their down throws again and I decided to give them a try. I added a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Acadia from Northern VA

One of my bucket list items is to visit all of the National Parks and while we are stuck on the east coast we are doing our best to knock out the ones over here so we don't have to come back. One of the Parks in the east is Acadia and we have been wanting to get up there since arriving in this...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tips for avoiding Condensation?

We currently live in VA and understand the humidity issue you are having. He experienced quite a bit of condensation the first night out and have experimented with the vents and windows quite a bit since then. We just got back from a trip up to Acadia National Park and New England and did not...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fan options?

I am currently looking at changing out my Fantastic Fan this winter for a Maxxair Deluxe 7500k as well as installing an additional one where I currently only have a vent. I took a look the other day and to my delight, it was already wired. Maxxair looks to be the best option as far as fans go...

My wife, daughter and I met my brother and his family at the DE beaches for some quick fun in the sun this past week. Our stay was at the wonderful Cape Henlopen State Park and could not have asked for it to be any nicer. We crossed yet another capital off the list for my wife, ate some great...
