Is my All Terrain Ocelot considered hard sided or not.

Built in fridge. We won’t be staying in that area and yes, bears can do pretty much what they want with rvs. Thanks all

Is my All Terrain Ocelot considered hard sided or not.

This is what prompted my question. Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest has a mandatory forest-wide Food Storage Order.

Is my All Terrain Ocelot considered hard sided or not.

My gut is not but I'm curious as to what the consensus is. Thanks in advance, Mel

2020 All Terrain Ocelot Shell Build

The only thing we don't like about the chairs is they seem to be a magnet for lint/dirt/other stuff and it is not easy to get that stuff off. It really doesn't bother us, we are campers and not fussy about how clean we are or how clean the chairs are. The flip side of the not being able to get...

Couple things I noticed at 5 degrees F.

Phil, I never got an update on your trip through WA/ID/MT. We have many camping traits in common i.e. water/showers/ski waxing/coffee. We're headed to Mission Ridge and White Pass this coming Sunday-Weds. Have skied Mission many times but will be the first time for White Pass.

Ear plugs are cheap and effective

Frankly I'm not sure which chairs we bought but a quick Google revealed these at Plow and Heart - Multiangle Floor Chairs with Adjustable Back, Set of 2 - Chocolate 59G44 CHO

2020 All Terrain Ocelot Shell Build

I don't know how clear it is shown but there is a piece of 3/16"x2 1/2" facing on the bottom of the shelves. Since most of our stuff is in plastic bins (most of them are now in the house waiting to be stocked for the next trip) the lip created by that facing holds stuff in place. There have been...

I hope this is not in violation of forum rules. Adding a large number of images to this site is painful. The link below will take you to 38 pics with captions of my build. Clicking on the individual pictures to expand them. Then click on the info button (letter i in the circle, upper right hand...

    Thermostat warm-up

I'm liking this idea to allow for air circulation and a thermal break from the cabinet. We are certainly living with this issue and plan to continue our stays in resort parking lots with the combination of blankets, window coverings, under bed insulation and the right combination of clothing and...

Truck camping at ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia

Phil, here is what I know. There certainly may be others that know more about these mountains than I do. If I don't mention the hill I don't know anything about it. Mission Ridge: Often suffers from low snow but when it does get snow it is great. Being on the eastside of the North Cascades...

    Built-in vs. Portable Fridge

Some very helpful comments from a lot of people. But I have to say the comments have muddied the water for me. My next question is how much solar and power storage am I ultimately going to have to have to run a fridge. So many variable it makes my head swim.

    Built-in vs. Portable Fridge

Hey Ronin, it was great to meet a fellow ATCer. Do you have a pic of the passenger side and front of your build? I've not seen anyone do what you have done on the driver's side.

    Built-in vs. Portable Fridge

Larry, how much solar and battery storage do you have that enables you to let the fridge run all the time?

    Built-in vs. Portable Fridge

I'm considering a built-in Truck Fridge for our ATC Ocelot and am wondering what the pros/cons are. I've done some searching of the forums but not finding anything. If anyone knows of a somewhat current thread please let me know. Thanks in advance

Truck camping at ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia

Wallowa, as someone mentioned earlier check their website for recent snow. Mission tends to get a lot of wind, especially at the top, which blows the snow off the upper mountain runs. This also makes for icy conditions if there has not been fairly recent snowfall. They do make snow on the lower...

Wow, this is crazy, I'd be really freaked on by the loud sirens too.

Truck camping at ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia

Here is a pretty good source of weather for skiing that we've been subscribed to for several years. A little corny but also a little fun. Register for Powder Alert free email - powderpoobah.com

Truck camping at ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia

I definitely second Wallowa on the Hurricane Ridge comment. BC is not even relevant right now with the border closure but Baldy, Apex, and Big White are really nice places to ski. Big White being the only real destination place but in the future check out their early season deals when you can...

Truck camping at ski resorts in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia

Very cool Phil, still contemplating the Indy Pass. I'm definitely interested in what you run across on your journey. I'm not sure how the schools are going to play a part this year with so many of them doing the virtual learning thing. Personally I'd plan on skiing mid week and maybe do the...

    Winter Camping/Skiing In A Truck Pop-Up Camper

Smoke, I've started a thread on resort parking and it sounds like you might have some input. https://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/topic/20622-truck-camping-at-ski-resorts-in-the-pacific-northwestbritish-columbia/ Thanks to all, lots of good info coming my way.
