I recently had all of mine powder coated and I did the same thing right before I had it done. Smoothed out all of the edges and corners. So much nicer.

That's correct, I keep it plugged in inside my garage between trips. Most trips will only be an hour or two away so that doesn't give it much charging time anyway. Maybe a couple 6+ hour trips per year. Its my first truck camper (I also have a travel trailer) so I guess I will have to see how...
