    Bobcat to 2nd gen tundra

I'm using a Renogy DCDC + Solar combo unit (50A) with great success. I mostly charge off of solar but I haven't even come close to running out of battery ever. Required me running some huge welding cables to the front battery to the bed, but it's been flawless. starter battery -> huge cables...

    Awning...but mounted on roof rails?

After thinking about the cantilever on the Yakima tracks I ended up not going that route actually. It would be okay if I only pulled it out 3' but that isn't really worth dealing with the weight. Considering a 270 now.

    Awning...but mounted on roof rails?

Heres a quick one from a parking lot at 3’ extension. You can also change the angle to point it down a little which I may do, but for now level is fine!

    Rotopax on Bobcat

Late to thread, but I'm using the MULE outfitters plates with some oversized (may rethink this) jam nuts to space them off of the jack brackets some. I placed them near my cab though to use the rear for other things and keep weight forward. Overpriced perhaps, but reversible.

    Awning...but mounted on roof rails?

Well the update is that I ended up mounting a 5' Kammok Crosswing on the roof's Yakima tracks directly so I can pull it out over my door. It's 38lbs or so but I beefed up with Suspa struts. I can pull it out 3, 5, or 7 feet depending on conditions and the bike rack is out of the way. No coverage...

    Awning...but mounted on roof rails?

I'm trying to decide on an awning setup for my Bobcat and am wondering if it's viable to mount on the roof rails. I have upgraded struts and am not so worried about raising it, but I'm not sure if it's stupid to have the thing up so high from a leverage on the roof if it's windy standpoint. I'd...

ATC custom camper on a Gladiator

Check the photo thread! Would post more but on the road stopped for gas. MaxTow is essential plus bags, swaybar. Mostly for the payload rating and 8spd else I’d be looking at OVRLND or the short shell

ATC custom camper on a Gladiator

I remember calling Marty to ask about the Gladiator around the time this one had been finished IIRC. I ended up putting a full monty Bobcat on my Gladiator MaxTow but it required some modification to fit. It goes EXACTLY to the edge of the tailgate. He was smart to move weight forward.

    Bobcat On Gladiator

Its been fine, id rather have it off myself but need to check with them first. Its not bearing any weight. I have plywood and rubber mat under the main part in the bed but not under the tailgate so there is a gap

    Bobcat On Gladiator

Thank you! Unfortunately my phone camera has succumbed to motorcycle vibrations so all I can take with it is wide angle…need to go retrieve DSLR from parents’ house unless I want to keep going on Polaroids only! Currently spending a weekend in Eastern Kentucky. Had big plans to ride some...

    Bobcat On Gladiator

So this came off a Tacoma. We managed to force it into the bed by wedging all but the back in, then we both got inside and slid it down. When I got home and measured it had spread the bed of the truck out an inch. The tailgate opening has some "hips" in the bodywork that are about 50" if I...
