I have actually thought of that myself. The last camper I owned I turned for a 5k profit! You loose track of weekends fast when you are constantly obsessing about mods for you camper. At any rate I'd really rather spend that time in the mountains with family and friends. -SSS

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Can an old FWC be modded to fit a Toyota T-100?

Little cut here, small weld there, no problem. The reality is yes you can do it if you have good understanding of carpentry and metal working skills. The cost of doing the job yourself should not be a factor at all. You just need to be realistic about how much time and energy you want to put...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West GPS System Could Fail Within a Year

here to stay Well the reality is that GPS is here to stay unless it gets replaced with even better technology. That is not likely to happen anytime soon. Fact is the first NAVSTAR GPS satelitte was launched in 1978. GPS has been around a long time in the military sector. Today our government...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West 80's Hawk modifications to fit 2001 Tundra

Thanks everyone for the info. Seems like the modification is doable considering I have welding skills and a workshop. Now it is just a question of when the right camper will show up in my neck of the woods. I would love to find a Ranger II but a Fleet would be fine especially for the price. -SSS
