Mine is a 2012 which already had the one piece roof skin, which is what was replaced already. If I actually get the money from the insurance company that would cover the 3200 mile trip I will have FWC do the repair. The mold really didn't get to the vinyl just mattress and rear lift panel.

Just waiting for the insurance company to get back to me, it almost seems like they may make it a total loss because of mold and no local shops able to make the repair. Would probably be a non issue if FWC wasn't 1750 miles away from me. I have talked with FWC and they don't even make the wood...

Picked up the camper in Reno, NV and made the drive back to AZ stopping for a night's rest at some rest stop that had RV parking. Posted some photo's on my blog site (http://stopbit.blogspot.com/).

So just finished the 22 hour drive from Kansas City to Laveen, AZ and the Ranger did great. The bucket seats mine has didn't leave my back hurting and didn't have any power issues on the small section of mountains I passed thru. The Ranger does drop to about 16MPG if I actually do the 75 MPH...

We are very happy with our ATC/FWC and Ranger. It has been to a lot of interesting places and has carried us on many adventures. It will take us on many more. Thanks, it's just probably the geek in me over thinking things.

So I had been a little worried about payload weight on my Ranger since so many posts on other sites say don't use a TC with a Ranger. So from Ford's info my Ranger has a max payload of 1370lbs or 1500lbs (which includes 150lbs for driver) with payload package. Since payload package is just heavy...

So the girlfriend is on board with the camper plan. She did lay down the law that it has to have a stove and sink, so looks like I will be getting a full model and not a shell. I was able to sell the bus so already have half the funds i need to order.

For the 110v system two or three outlets to handle a small microwave, ARB fridge is AC mode, and a float charger for DC should more than be enough for my needs. I'm sure I can figure it out if can't have it added to my build. Will probably add the cold weather pack to make winter camping more...
