Having the same issues with my 2017 Hawk Shell this spring. I purchased new hinges on Amazon (just in case) but will try Champer methods 1st. Unserviceable hinges are a pain.

We had this coyote and his two friends try and intimidate a band of Rocky Mnt Big Horn rams. The rams would not have anything to do with it and the coyotes backed off. It made for some great close up photography. :) JK
