Yes you can, you can access the key port above the tire to lower by taking off the license plate, at least you can on a 1997 and 2003 tacoma :) Also works on Tundras.

I also built a jack bracket mount, very easy and stable. Aluminum plate and a piece of aluminum angle, few bolts and some drilling holes no problem. The angle is screwed into the wood up under the overhang for extra flex stability.

Yep, always put on at Minam in August. Always low in Aug, usually around 500 cfs range on the Troy Gage. Keeps the people away, but when the people are away, the animals will play! pics/vid all from low water August/early Sept trips from various years on the Wallowa/GR

I don't think the craigslist ad for a roamin chariot that I am referring to is as bad as your story. They had a couple photos of theirs and also linked to this thread.

mine has the same wiring, but I haven't tried to connect it to a battery. We have just been using our little electric lantern. I'll be curious to see if you find out anyting about that type of wire connector.

had the chariot out to NE Oregon and floated the Wallowa/Grande Ronde over labor day. No one else put on the river. On day 2, saw 1 mountain goat, 9 mountain sheep, 2 mink, 1 beaver, several osprey and eagles, a couple rattlers in camp.
