Took a shot of this one in Hawaii a long time ago. Not digital so pulled an image of the internet.

Some signs seem to attract us. Like ones about bears or long trips between gas stations.

Also the Hawaii sign at Kiliauea, I remember seeing that sign years ago. Or one like it on the Chain of Craters Rd.

Typical "maintenance" for a roadside sign in the Great Basin. A friend of mine liked this pic so much he requested I make a print for him. This indicator is on a sharp turn on an otherwise straight road that runs down the east side of Steens Mtn, SE Oregon.

Ran across this in Polebridge, Montana a year or two ago.
Luckily I didn't need any.
Paid $1.89 yesterday in Denver......this maybe the year for the Alaska highway.

Just south of the Kueny Ranch?

Just north of the main Alvord Ranch. Road was rerouted maybe 10 years back or more as it was actually on ranch property I believe and also to soften the curve as there had been some bad accidents here from what I had heard. There is also a very picturesque cottonwood at this corner that many of us photo types have had a hard time resisting even if it on private property. The turn for road to Mickey Basin is marked by this sign also. Here is a link to a friend's shot from near this location.

Tyson is good! When I am on that side, I'm usually heading for Mann Lake. I need to take a little more camera time.

My cousin married a young lady from that area. I should try and twist arms for access.
