The plastic spigot looks like a cheap after thought on an otherwise top notch camper. The handle snapped off when I tried to close on in 30 degree weather and another spigot leaked. After I replaced it and did a biopsy, the plastic had been scored by sand or something. Imagine, a FWC being used...

Ronin, Nevada City here. I too, use the license plate bracket and after playing around with various attachment points, I think it probably makes the most sense. I'd rather have a better perspective when backing into a trailer hitch, but other attachment points have their own compromises.

Lobster- That is exactly how I have the camera mounted now. It gets blinded by the license plate lights and doesn't provide the depth perception I need/want for backing into a trailer hitch. I'd like to get it up higher, but no place jumps out as a reasonable spot.

Where is the best place to mount a camera to replace the stock tailgate cam on a Tundra? Mounting on the license plate provides little if any depth perception and the license plate lights blind it. Middle of the Hawk's door seems like the best spot but requires the wires to flex - not sure if...

We have the big FWC solar panel and are considering adding a Yakima Space Case. Does the case block the panel so much as to seriously cut down on charging rate?

Is there an easier, better way to tie the camper to the bed other than using standard turnbuckles? My shoulders are shot and it is nearly impossible for me to squirm around enough to secure the buckles.
