RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Tire pressure: BFG K02 ‘18 Tacoma w/ Fleet flatbed camper

Yes flatbeds definitely are. I took your advice and weighed my piggy. The front axle is 2,860 and the rear is 3,980 lbs with a full tank of gas and recovery gear but no people, propane, water, or food, etc. So to use the Toyo PDF do you divide these weights by two to determine the per tire load?

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Mounting Overland solar flexible 160 Watt panel on yakima tracks

Great thoughts! Thanks. I also like how you used Velcro to keep the PV stable while leveling the brackets. Only wish the professional installer had done this in the first case.

Thank you for commenting. I like the reference to the Toyo PDF. I will try to more fully understand it when I am more awake. I have in fact taking it to a scale and I am going to have reweighed and this time get the weight on each tire. Going to install some custom rear springs either Alcan or...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Tire pressure: BFG K02 ‘18 Tacoma w/ Fleet flatbed camper

Having just discovered this thread I am late to the party. We have a 2019 Tacoma with a fleet flatbed and a norweld tray, it weighs 6500 pounds empty. We’re running 275/70/17 BFG KO2 tires, load range E at 50 psi. We plan on airing down by 1/3rds; 34 psi for gravel roads and 17 psi for sand.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Fleet / Eagle

We just purchased a flatbed fleet which is on a 2019 Tacoma and am in the process of adding wider mirrors. Definitely had blind spots. Also have a problem with the main camper power not working...after i drove it home from the dealer 450 miles away.
