Well, I drove 500 miles and finally an owner of a shell model grandby, I am pretty happy with the purchase so far and for under $4k it was a decent deal.

Plan so far to add

200watt solar with battery bank
usb/12v sockets
install truck fridge
lift assist struts

truck is getting airlift springs next week, i already ordered those!

Looks good, lots of room in the Granby. Take lots of pictures of the build, can't have to many pictures.

A few of my screws holding the top latches are broke, heads snapped off...what is your suggestions on extracting?
My immediate thought is to remove the other screws and take the latch off, then use vice grips (assuming you can grab the broken screws) and back them out. Reinstall with a good sealant. Check with Brenda at FWC or Marty at ATC if you need to know what replacement screws to buy.

If that doesn't work, a small 'easy out' may be in order.

Could it be the latches were too tight, and that snapped the screws?
