a new alaskan on the market

HI Everyone,

I am on the lookout for an alaskan. I have a 1988 F250 xlt lariat extended cab with 8' bed. Are there any years/models what will not fit in bed?

Ideally I want an 8' cabover from the 70s with a heater and roof vent as well as roof rack. I live in Colorado, but am willing to drive to pick one up. Any suggestions for me as I start looking for Alaskans?

occasionally here on the classified section....Craigslist....Oregon, California, Arizona, Utah, New mexico.......the dryer the state the better the interior condition...but not always

look for water staining, black rings around the interior screws...darkened corners of the interior and staining around the vent indicating water presence...you may have to find your own rack mounts...rarely do they come up in serviceable condition
