CPT that does look like a Bobcat.I guess the heat even makes wild animals do strange things.
I on a larger look it does look like a Gray Fox. Like the ones that would come up on our deck with their kits and show off for us.

Fox for sure. I can see how the angle is funky in that pic. She is our resident beast, we call her Picante. She had two pups (kits if you will) and we truly enjoyed watching them roll around and play together while mom was out hustling grub.

Thanks CPT. Many years ago we had a family of Gray Fox living under a part of our deck.
We could see them very up close.Mom would nurse them right in front of us on the deck.
We have a large "glass" sun room so she didn't feel threatened by us watching from inside.
Mom came back a few years later and raised another litter,but haven't seen her for many years.
Great fun watching nature right from inside your house.

.A cold front, along with plenty of moisture and upper level
energy, will help initiate scattered to numerous thunderstorms
Wednesday afternoon and evening across the entire area. Wind
gusts 50-70 mph are possible with thunderstorms. Winds across
southeast Oregon will become moderate (15-25 mph with gusts 30-
40 mph) from late afternoon into the evening, adding to the
concern. Storms will have wet cores with wetting rain likely, but
most areas will see lower amounts. Debris flows may occur on

Last Thursday I drove though Burns Oregon by 395, got gas, moved on quickly. Burns had hazardous air quality due to the fire burning north west of Burns.
