After searching for several years to find a Hawk to replace my older Fleet, I finally found this very clean (and totally empty) shell. Although it was made for a stepside, it fits Moby (my Chev 2500HD, a whale of a truck!) far better than the old Fleet. I picked it up last january and then promptly caught a bug which knocked me back hard, so not much was done until this last fall. Starting from scratch, the plan is to install a battery/charging system, pressure water/sink, and cooktop. We will see what else after that. Snaps are of what I started with and with the utility/storage cab roughed in.

Congrats on the camper. Same as mine... and same truck! Mine is a 8.1L gasser... love the Alison tranny!

I did a complete gut and rebuild of my camper over the xmas holidays. Much fun! Have fun planning and building. Feel free to ask questions.
