Another Sprinter convert

Your thoughts about the change when it's time are good. Nice you have acted on them.
Looks like you will have a great rig when finished.
I know a few people who camp out of vans that have been converted to some degree.
Will enjoy watching your progress.

Do you ever question the future reliability of your sprinter? I am currently researching what my next rig should be coming from a 1987 Westfalia and I am seriously considering the exact model as you have. I know you can't believe everything you read on the internet, but I have unfortunately read about quite a few horror stories about these vans and how they get insanely expensive to maintain over time. I would love to hear your opinion.

Thanks

Everybody has an opinion.
I wouldn't have made the purchase if I doubted the reliability of the machine.

I once owned an 87 Westfalia too. Technology has gone through many upgrades since then.
I think everyone has to make up their own mind after doing the research.
I've found a wealth of information at the Sprinter Forum.

Looking good!
We see a lot of converted Sprinters passing thru Port Angeles, and it has peaked my interest. Now that I'm growing wiser (older) I find that I share your reasons for a Sprinter. Why did you go with the 144 vs 170? How do they compare to the length of your Tundra?
Cheers,
Tim
