Are Tacoma 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen FWC bed mounts the same?

Hi all,

I found a FWC Fleet I'd like to buy that is mounted in a 2nd Gen Tacoma ... I am wondering if the brackets this seller has for the camper bed mount will also work in my 3rd Gen Tacoma. This will streamline this process a lot for me if possible. But I need to be sure. Thanks!

Yes, the mounts should be the same, if the trucks are the same.

The Tacoma Bed Bars FWC has manufactured are the same from 2005 - 2020.

As long as the parts are coming off a 6' Tacoma truck bed, and being installed on the same size 6' Tacoma truck bed.

But the Fleet on the 2nd Gen Tacoma will need some additional height on the floor stringers. About 1 inch? To clear the higher bed walls on the 3rd Gen Tacoma

Is that about the right amount to add Stan? One inch?
