ATC Manx Flatbed Camper: 2nd Generation

Manxman,

What an awesome finish to your build! Love the cabinetry, and the fit and finish looks top notch. 5 foot long overhang, wow! There sure is more storage in a flatbed. Truck and camper look natural, a great fit. Hope you enjoy it for years to come!

Vic Harder mentioned that too.
I would have thought that with most trucks being crew cabs these days, people would be ordering a longer cab over.

We just asked if we could have the extra foot and Marty at ATC said "sure......why not"

Interesting, three years ago they knew they could do it. They had done it on a personal one that they had built, but were still to worried about flex and hitting the cab roof to do it for me when I asked. Perhaps three years of beta testing has convinced them it's a safe build.

Congrats the long front will come in very handy!

Fantastic,
Love the interior. Would have loved an extended bed, just to not have to lose the counter space!
Very clean build. The cabinet color has just caused the wife to inform me that i will be staining mine this winter.
Great lucking setup.

Nice layout and build. I asked Marty if he would build a longer cabover when I ordered my Panther shell last May and he said no. Would have been nice!

I was wondering if anyone who was turned down for the cabover extension was ordering a flatbed camper when they asked.

I have only seen two extended. Mine and the one ATC built for themselves. Both are flatbeds. I have no idea, but could there be a design reason why it has been done to flatbeds and not to slide in campers?
