So on my hawk the thermal pack is not attache at / behind the black wall lift boards.is there a reason why? May i attach some velcro to both ends an not cause a rising or lowering problem
As a follow up, is this still holding up and any issues? I can't stand the corners falling down anymore!Dirtroadsavant said:We just added 1” square tabs of adhesive-backed Velcro to the pop-up vinyl. There are two at each of the four upper ends. In each case, one is a few inches in from the corner and the other close to the end of the liner. These grip the existing Velcro on the liner so everything stays together. So far so good, and the corners look much better. There have not been noticeable changes in raising lowering and we’re assuming that, if there was a problem, the minimal velcro attachment would give way before mischief was done.
(This post was edited after I actually got off the couch and went out to see what “we” did.)
Great... headed out to add some velcro to the corners and around the back.Dirtroadsavant said:It’s working great after about a dozen ups and downs and it is nice not having the droop.
