Auxiliary brake/ turn lights

On my Tacoma and Eagle I sometimes carry bikes on a swing away hitch mount rack. I have a cover to slip over the bikes to protect them. When the cover is on the brake lights on the truck are obscured.
I would like to mount some LED brake/running/turn lights on the camper. After looking at Amazon for the last two hours with the hundreds of options available I've become lost.
I don't want to drape wire all over and would rather not drill into the camper to mount the lights. Any tips on lights and how to do a clean mount?

If you have a trailer light receptacle I would make up a harness that plugs into that. I've found that I prefer to use the "torsion mount" type of truck lights. These are sealed, when they go out you replace the whole lens/bulb/reflector assembly. In incandescent they're pretty reasonable. For what ever reason the LED versions are still quite high. There are a variety of mounting brackets made for these lights. I usually buy this sort of product from AWDirect, a tow truck equipment supplier.

Or you can buy temporary trailer lights with magnetic bases if that would work for you. I tried the Harbor Fright offering and there wasn't a single part that I could harvest and make use of. It was all junk. Might try places like AWDirect, etrailer or redneck trailer, or even tractor supply for this sort of thing.

Alternatively, you could take your bike cover to a boat canvas shop and have them sew in some windows in strategic spots so your existing lights show through. No wiring required, but might cost as much as new lights.

The bike cover does have clear areas for the tail lights to shine but it doesn't really work well.

Forgot to mention that the reason that I like the torsion mount type of lights is that because they are sealed they can't get dust inside them and when the pig-tail is connected to them with the grease in place the whole dirty trailer light contacts issue goes away as well

Maybe someone has this answer. I just refurbed a 1994 Grandby. It fits my 6'6" Silverado bed great, with about 18" on the tailgate. So that also means that my truck tailights are farther forward than the back of the camper. I've looked and it seems you can see them all from behind okay. Any thoughts on that?

Also, am i required to have a red brake light on the top of the camper facing back?
