Nice report and pics as usual! I enjoyed the bear story. We've had our share of encounters with black bears but have yet to meet a grizzly up close and personal. I'm ok with that.

Thanks for another stellar report ski3pin. The areas around Bridgeport are some of my favorite places on this planet. Your report really captured the look and feel of the Bodie side.

Your TR was also a first for me - it is the first time I have ever seen a reference to Glass Mountain. Some friends and I skied it many years ago in the spring time after some heavy snow years in that part of the Sierra. It still ranks near the top of the list of the most remote places to have earned our turns. Cool place. Thanks for stirring up some very fond memories.
