Interior light options

Hello,
I would like to replace the LED lights inside my Hawk as the ones that came with it are very cool. I feel like I'm in an operating room or a factory. I would like to replace with warmer/cozier lights. I ordered some inexpensive ones off amazon but they didn't even work. Some other reviews had the same issue. So I'm turning to fellow FWC folks to see if anyone has found an LED light for the interior that they enjoy.

If you're going to the trouble of replacing your lights, I suggest including a dimmer. Sometimes full bright is nice but late at night very dim works better. Matt from Halmark recommended the PCA Electronics dimmer, Amazon.com. I use them for two of my ceiling lights. Works great.

There was a discussion of using color correction film to warm the LED lights in the Four Wheel Campers Owners Facebook group a few years ago. If you are a member of the group type "LED film" into the search bar and the first hit will tell you all about it.

D'oh! All these years and it never occurred to me to swap out my ceiling lights for a warmer version. Thanks for the idea and links. I've just put the camper in storage, but saved the Amazon page to my wish list for next spring. Will be a good time as the switch on my of my lights is beginning to fail.

I should mention that I'm looking for a 12-18 inch bar similar to what came with the camper. But thanks for your post.

Definitely want the lights to be able to dim. Many light bars (including the ones that came with the camper) are dimmable. Thanks!

I was wondering about that as an option. I'm have tinkered with flash photography. Often we use colored "gels" over the flash to get a different color. I'll go to the FB page now. Thanks!

Will do. The films I've used are not adhesive. So will need to figure out a way to "install".

I've had eShine brand LED's in my camper since the rebuild. They come in various shades and have a dimmer. I would not bother with the "hand wave" on/off feature tho as the lights turn on/off just by lowering the top.

You can unclip the lights from the ceiling and wrap the gels around the light bars and clip them back in.
