Well this isn't quite a pop up camper trip, but we hope you will let us post a report to justify our user name. And, over the years we have seen FWCs at our local winter trail heads and this winter had a nice morning conversation with a couple getting ready to ski out from their FWC. We really needed to put in some miles on skis to clear the heads and rejuvenate the spirits, so we did a nice long circle on the north end of Desolation Wilderness. Warm day with spring conditions; bobcat sighting in the morning and saw that a nesting pair of bald eagles are back again for this season. A very good day.
