I haven't made any firm plans but I usually go to Big Bend in January. Have met some other WTW types there before 
, usually nice and warm days although it can get cold. If it snows (unusual) that would be a beautiful bonus. There are a couple of good 4WD roads in the NP, many more in BB Ranch Start Park just West. I most frequently stay at Cottonwood campground but also have enjoyed the solitude of the backroad sites. I'll probably take at least one motorcycle to explore with. Anyone thinking about heading that way? I great place to visit.
