Boondock Recommenation - Twain Harte and Strawberry

Hi All,

We are looking for a place to boondock on Friday night between Twain Harte and Strawberry. We plan to head up to Leavitt Lake this weekend but we can't leave till Friday afternoon.

The Clavey River for one: 38.133257 / -119.978342. Another option would be to head for Fraser Flat. There is a campground there by that name but check the area out on topo maps and Google Earth because there are several FS roads right around there.

Carry water.. The campgrounds may be open, but they have the water turned off for drought purposes. PM me if you want a quiet culdesac in Twain Harte. I won't be home, but can spread the news between the neighbors.
