I'm hoping to pick up our new Hawk the end of next week or the first of the following. Going through the checklist. As I can't leave it on full time, how do you guys think is the best storage system? Of course indoors is best. Mine will be outside, so I'm looking at cover options. Premade truck camper cover (with a little sewing) this will allow the camper will be stored with the top poped. Or a cover like chnlisle did here.

So, you guys are storing your camper in the down position. It's a bunch wetter here in Northern Cal. If it were wetter and cooler would you still go that way? Oh, and thanks for the link!

I'm in NorCal (Contra Costa County) and I store it with the top down with the cover on. I open it up once a month to let it air out and have never experienced any moisture on the canvas.

Need to remember that those of us who have the camper on full time wind up "storing" it folded down with no problems. Like most things, never put it away wet.

Good point ;)

good point is right

I never thought of it that way. Down it is then. That's why these sites are so great. Many minds wandering along the same path.:thumb:

Are you accusing my mind of wandering? Well maybe, once in a while What were we talking about?
