Carrizo Plain National Monument ,Looks like it maybe a good year!

Just saw this on Desert Wildflower Report. I have my trip planned to the east coast so will miss Carrizo this year.

We had gone there on a trip that started down at Montana Del Oro SP ,outside Morro Bay.April, 2011,met Gene Rubin and friends there.
The flowers were great,but the weather wasn't.
Snow/rain showers.Otherwise very nice,
