I've never been crazy about the dark gray pop-up material. I would prefer a light gray/beige to give the whole interior a brighter look. Has anyone successfully painted or applied some kind of interior fabric over it?

I got a sample of 3M Vinyl Wrap material, the kind you would wrap a car with. Works great except for one small problem. I tested the sample on one of the window flaps. I put it in the freezer for a while and then took it out and flexed it and the vinyl wrap material cracked. So if you live and travel in a climate that does not freeze this will work, but here in CO it won't. So now my wife is going to Joanne Fabrics to see what she can come up with to help "decorate.". God help me, what have I started?

I would say get the arctic pack (or whatever they call it now, thermal pack?) and/or make your own and you could probably pick any color for the fabric PLUS you get some insulation properties too.

Several years back there were some threads about making your own arctic pack using a material called Warm Window fabric. Perhaps, that would solve two problems at once.

We don't camp in winter, so I wonder if the thermal pack would keep the camper cooler in summer?

BTW - if one wanted to cover the wood grain panel look inside an ATC I think the vinyl wrap material would work well.

I leave my thermal pack on all year, as it does keep the camper much cooler in the summer. That includes the Utah desert and Baja!
