Colorado - Silverton and the San Juan Mountains

Looking forward to a repeat Jeeping/camping trip to Colorado. My son is going this year. And my brother hopes to meet us there as well with his side by side. My wife and I went to Colorado on our honeymoon in 9/9/1978. Seems fitting to go again on our 35th anniversary. Take a look at a slideshow of last year's trip to see why we like it. You will see in the pictures where we boondock just outside of Silverton.

My pictures are from several trails around Ouray. The best source of information on the trails is Funtreks book on Southern Colorado. I carry it with me all the time.
