Sunday Drive in the 4Runner

hey all, well no camper in these photos but thought you guys would enjoy none the less.

we have an 86' 4 runner, ifs front end, 22R motor, downy leaf springs and shackles, edlebrock shocks and back aluminum wheels with BFG AT's. anyway this rig used to sag in the rear (see photo) so we modified the suspension to where it is today. we are stoked, couldn't have done it without all the advice from the ExPo...here are a bunch of pics from todays tour...sweet!

erod,

Nice old rig, I had a '82 Toyota long bed I bought in '84 and drove until '02 when I got the Tacoma. Love the pictures as always. Thanks.

Egad, that brings back some memories

I had the same decal pattern on my Toyota and I'm willing to bet the paint code is "8N" or "8NE" (its been a while). I would stay with the IFS if I were you, and maybe consider a front sway bar disconnect.
