Defrosted my Truckfridge today

What to do when its so hot my thermostat just says "HI"? Defrost time. My freezer was basically so frozen over it was unusable. I'm not sure if it just got that way or if some is related to not having the door shut fully (ice box door). Opened it up, took everything out, tossed a towel in to soak up the water and checked two hours later and it was done. I also took three trips to find the parts to finish repairs on my barbecue, works great again. This was my one day off. Tried to do something useful between naps

When you say truck fridge, do you mean camper fridge? Or maybe I'm missing an opportunity to have cold beverages in the cab.

You leave it running full time or does it just ice up quickly?
