Diesels, EPA, Navistar, & urea!

Before anyone buys one of these new diesel trucks from Ford or Chevy that require the addition of urea to the system, check out the fine print about what happens to the truck if it tries to run without the additive. At least on the Chevy, it will start to lock-down the engine speed, eventually restricting you to 4 mph until you add the urea juice. That's a little too big-brother for me.

Hey Barko stay with the old reliable 7.3 it wont let you down

So far it has been great, bought it at 110k, now 160 and heading out for 4k more next week. Noisy but so strong out on the road. Just added the 4" exhaust and with the big intake and mild tune from DP it rips :) The exhaust does lower EGT's which is always good. This trip next week is to the Midwest :( so no real grades, not towing, poor motor won't even get to sweat.
