Hello Campers.
I've got a question for Everyone.
A couple of months ago I was looking at a Thread that involved a Camper doing a DIY/Homemade Corner Jack Post Mounts, where he had drawing of the Plates that he made and Welded it to his Jacks to convert them to Corner Jacks.
Does anyone know who the Member was or which Post it was in?
I tried searching the Forums and can not find it.
I really like the Idea of converting my own considering I have newish Jacks and the Welding Capabilities.
I really appreciate any help.
Thanks.
John

Hello John,

in my build thread I included some corner jacks that I made some attachment plates out of 1/8” steel that were cut and drilled to match the corner attachment brackets on the camper. These were old jacks that originally had bands around them, but instead I chose to weld these plates to the jacks. Not sure if this was what you were looking for, but check out pace #63 of the attached thread.

on the corner attachment brackets on your camper, was they already there/mounted or did you make them too?
i want to convert from side lifts to corner lifts and need to decide whether to buy or build the mounts.

thank you so much

Sorry, i just reread your post. i think i was confused about whether you had them already installed or not.

John, I also made and attached the corner brackets during the build process, you can read that beginning page #47. The only thing I would do different is use thicker metal on the aluminum angle and flat stock I used. Because I rebuilt the frame and beefed up the corners, I was able to use three inch bolts to attach the corner brackets. I’m not sure what year yours is, but hopefully the frame is strong enough on the corners to add four mechanical jacks.
