Do u Scotch guard your cushion after washing

Doing a cushion cleaning an wondering if u all scotch guard them before u return them to camper

I use scotch guard after cleaning material/cloth cushions, couches etc because it’s real easy when I have them out. I can not say its good or bad but have not had issues of any kind. Maybe a mental thing? I will keep doing it. Not a definitive answer I know.
