Eagle Lake was great, alot of laughs, good food and of course fishing. We were the first on the water every morning, at the ramp @ 4:30 AM to launch our boats, had to beat the rush. We would run out into lake in the dark, thanks to the GPS mapping, kept me from hitting any rocks on the way out. I could hear Jon from his boat yelling, I got another fish on !! The guy caught more fish than anyone on the lake !! My thanks to Jon for having me at his place at Eagle Lake. We will be going again soon, when the weather cools down and the fall fishing heats up, we'll be back. I did catch a nice 24.5 inch Eagle Lake trout on my 4wt flyrod, what a rush, the thing like spooled me twice, what fun. Thanks Jon for the good time !!
