There are still some "folkies" around. Hard to find.
Here on the central coast we have a great radio station KPIG out of Watsonville Ca.
They play lots of different types of music and yes they take requests and play folk.

I'm surprised I've never heard of tom rush but I grew up listening to the old guys. Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Cisco Houston.
