FWC Hawk Roll-Over sofa

I bought my hawk without the seat back or hinges for the rollover sofa. I’d like to install a new seat back with rollover hinges for added bed space below. I have located replacement rollover hinges, but will need to fabricate a new seat back and cushion..

Does anyone know how the seat back was designed from the factory? What type of support frame there is to handle the weight when in bed mode. It would be really helpful if someone has pictures of the inside frame when they had it reupholstered.

Pretty sure its just plywood.

This is the seat back from the front dinette. My used shell had a front dinette and I changed to a side dinette. Shorted the alum tubes and reupholstered. Just plywood would work just fine for a seat back. If you hare going to sleep on it go 3/4" plywood.
