FWC - hitch step options

The Easy Hitch step looks like a great design, but for me with a half ton truck, I watch every pound I put in the truck. So 30 lbs makes me think twice before buying.

Has anyone tried the Tentrax aluminum hitch step? Also expensive, but only 7-1/2 lbs.

I have the three step model of he Tentrax, which I'm not sure they still offer. It is built very, very well and is really light. I got lucky and got mine off Craigslist for $30 but in my opinion it would be a better step than the folding one in the original post.

Here is what I got and it works great for me.
