According to the Redwood NP site Gold Bluffs Beach CG is reserveable.
Checked the site and yes it's FULL.

That is a change. Not sure if for better or worse. When it was FCFS, you might have had a chance ona weekday. Now it will likely be booked months ahead of time like other coastal sites. On the other hand, if we all reserve a spot on the opening day of the reservation window, we could finally have a coastal rally.
