We camped for over 30 years with a Eureka Timberline 6 person tent and it did us very well, 2000+ nights. Plenty of room for 3 and quite comfortable with 4.You can stand up in it easily (4 people at the same time). The best part is when it rains. Assemble the frame, put the fly on and then roll out and raise the tent under the fly and hook to the frame. To take the tent down, unhook from frame, fold and put the relatively dry tent in stuff sack, out of the rain under the fly. Then take the fly down, roll it quickly and put it in its stuff sack. With extra tie-down lines from each end, 50mph wind gusts were not a problem. The frame assembles/disassembles very quickly - no stuffing poles through fabric guides. One of the fastest setup and take down tents.
Backs and knees finally convinced us to go with a FWC.
