Grand Teton National Park

This is what I would do if I were making the trip from yellowstone through Idaho and back into the civilized world.
From Lemhi, I'd consider taking Warm Springs road up and over Lemhi Pass to the Clark Canyon Reservoir. Gorgeous drive, hot springs along the way and lots of dispersed camping on the reservoir (windy though!).

I love the path you picked, Harmonicas and also the Hot springs Vic mentions! My only reservation is that takes us father north then time may allow. I will work on the misses to see if she can get more time off so we can extend the journey!

My blog has a couple posts of the Teton area.
There's a lot of things to do in TNP
Also camping along Grassy Lake road, some nice spots overlooking the Snake river.

Where abouts is Grassy Creek rd? I did a quick scan of the map and did not see it. Thanks

Sorry Capt it's Grassy Lake Rd. It's in the northern part of the park.Actually the
J D Rockefeller Jr. Memorial section. The road goes from the NP west into Idaho.

It's also called the Ashton Flagg Ranch rd.

If you look at the NP map you pick it up out of
Flagg Ranch area of the park.

There are 3 camps, a couple sties per camp.

I have only stopped to look back in 2009.
The first camp is about 2-3 miles from the main park road.

Hope this makes helps.

Capt,if you search Grassy Lake rd campground it will give you some info.
As of the info I found today the sites are free and usually open some time in June
depending on the grizzly bear situation.
